As much as I love-hate my PC, it's evident that Apple is the consumer darling. For the past decade, every time Apple has come out with a new killer product, companies come out of the woodwork claiming to have a better product. So far Apple has held supreme. Even with its computers, despite the small market share, Apple has managed and grown a die-hard non-prescription plastic frame glasses and tight jeans wearing fanbase.
But recently, the seemingly supreme iPhone has been challenged twice in a rather short period of time. Although the G1 garnered extensive coverage in the tech community, it's the Blackberry Storm that has captured the attention of people across the nation. But will the Blackberry Storm, like the Microsoft Zune, flash by and disappear despite all the hype?
What do you think?

1. He's got a song that's playing on KIIS FM. Ryan Seacrest and Chris Cornell? Chris Cornell, you can't be serious.
2. Timbaland and Chris Cornell? Whoever saw this coming? Maybe Rivers Cuomo from Weezer was right, Timbaland DOES know the way to reach the top of the charts.
3. We all knew Chris Cornell's career was floundering after he wrote a song for Casino Royale(although it was cool) and then covered Billie Jean.
Listen to the song linked above and tell me what you think

Am I the only person that hate acapella!? I can't really put my finger on what it is that I hate so much, but maybe it has to do with the dancing and singing and ugly costumes some groups don, but I don't think it is because I've watched High School Musical and not been completely bored and disgusted by it. Maybe it's the combination of those things?
All around me at school are people that yap on and on about the greatness of acapella but all I can think during an acapella concert is, when will this torturous hell end?! And as I listen to acapella groups sing yet another cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'", I think, where have I heard a much better version of this song? Oh yeah, that's right! When Journey played it. With actually instruments and not a bunch of Comm. majors harmonizing with the fat guy beat boxing.

Dear Subway,
I want to start off by thanking you for the years of excellent service and hunger elimination. And the $5 footlong menu! Genius! And delicious. But now I'd like to ask for something. While every other fast food restaurant utilizes the drive thru, you, Subway, have refused. So I sit here today asking, nay, begging that you start implementing and utilizing the drive-thru. This would make my hunger pangs die down quicker.
Thank you and God bless you, Subway.
Sincerely,
Jay

P.S. Thanks for not buying salmonella contaminated tomatoes.
Overall demand and consumption in the US and many other countries is down. Supply is rising. Production capacity has more than doubled. Yet gas prices continue to rise higher and higher.
Once again, like in the tech bubble (and the real estate bubble), the speculators are raising the prices. I hope that those responsible for pushing gas prices up get shafted when those oil futures and contracts sink and the cost of a barrel settles back down to $60-70. At least with the tech bubble, only those investing were affected. With the oil bubble, everyone is affected.
